WhatsApp stops working on some of the iPhone models as well as Android smartphones starting today, January 1, 2021. The reason behind ending support for some phones is because they are running on an outdated operating system (OS). WhatsApp stops working for iPhones running on OS older than iOS 9 and Android smartphones running on OS older than Android 4.0.3.
